FORMULATION FACT 01

We formulate our All Bright C Serum with citrus oils Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil which imparts fragrance while diligently limiting furocoumarins -- natural citrus compounds that can cause skin irritation when exposed to UV light. As always, wear sunscreen as part of a daily healthy skin care regimen.

We chose naturally-derived phytic acid instead of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) salts designed to improve stability and enhance preservation of our products. Manufacturing EDTA and its salts involves reacting ethylenediamine, a harmful substance associated with reproductive toxicity. Unfortunately, EDTA and its salts may contain trace amounts of this substance. EDTA and its salts are also persistent and can harm the environment.

      I’ve used this product for years and still keep it as a favorite. Due to its price tag I don’t use it daily. However, when I feel my aging skin needs a boost (like the onset of cold weather), I use it daily. It’s fragrance is wonderful first thing in the morning!
