FORMULATION FACT 01

We chose naturally derived phytic acid instead of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) salts designed to improve stability and enhance preservation of our products. Manufacturing EDTA and its salts involves reacting ethylenediamine, a harmful substance associated with reproductive toxicity Unfortunately, EDTA and its salts may contain trace amounts of this substance. EDTA and its salts are also persistent and can harm the environment.

We chose skin conditioning ingredients like sea water, skin protectants like Rhododendron Ferrugineum (Alpine Rose) Extract, and emulsifiers like xanthan gum and sclerotium gum instead of heavily ethoxylated ingredients like PEG/PPG-14/7 Dimethyl Ether and PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil that carry particular risk for carcinogenic contaminants, 1,4-dioxane and ethylene oxide.       Love me some Hydrating Essence🩷

      I love to use this as a toner after I cleanse my skin. It’s more of a hydration where I feel I’m really nurturing my skin. It’s not a typical toner where you are applying it to remove traces of makeup - rather you pat it onto your skin. I find my skin glows after and it’s just a nice way to Rebalance your skin before you apply your serum moisturizer and or makeup or to apply it before you go to bed before your serum moisturizer, etc. I really feel like using the cleansing oil and the hydrating essence really gives my skin a glow and makes me feel like I’m really taking good care of my skin. Love Counter’s high-quality products and clean ingredients as it Gives me a piece of mind that I’m not harming my health with toxic ingredients like so many products on the market do. Thank you Counter for caring as much about our health as you do about creating a quality product that produces results. 🩷

      This is such a nice "toner". It really ups your facial care routine. I love using it right after washing. It is perfect before all other treatments. A bit hydrating and firming. Has a nice smell.
