FORMULATION FACT 01

We formulate Daily Sheer Defense with non-nano zinc oxide—a broad spectrum mineral-based UV filter—and avoid chemical-based UV filters such as oxybenzone, octinoxate, and octocrylene that carry concern for hormone disruption. Oxybenzone is readily absorbed through the skin and has potential to cause allergic skin reaction upon sun exposure.

      Best sunscreen out there!

      Love the daily sheer defense sunscreen! I use it daily before my dog walks on my shoulders, and neck too! Doesn’t leave any white hue and very moisturizing. Feels like skin care not just sunscreen. I’ve tried many and Counter’s is the best!

      Finally!

      A mineral sunscreen I can wear all day. My skin reacts negatively to chemical sunscreens, so I have used mineral sunscreens for years. I typically cannot wait to wash my face at the end of the day after applying, and reapplying, mineral sunscreens because they usually feel so heavy and drying - like wearing a mask. Not this one! I don't even know I'm wearing it, and the protection is fantastic. I don't usually wear makeup, so I can't speak to how well it works under makeup, which I know is important to most, but I can say there is no white cast after applying, and no sticky or greasy residue. I've used this product for over 3 years, and I am so glad Counter kept this sunscreen in the lineup!
