Formulation Fact 01

We don’t formulate with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) salts such as Disodium EDTA, Trisodium EDTA or Tetrasodium EDTA. Manufacturing EDTA and its salts involves reacting ethylenediamine, a harmful substance associated with reproductive toxicity. Unfortunately, EDTA and its salts may contain trace amounts of this substance. EDTA and its salts are also persistent and can harm the environment.

Formulated without BHT or parabens like methylparaben, ethylparaben or propylparaben, endocrine disrupting ingredients often used in cosmetics as preservatives.

      Best hand cream

      I love this hand cream! I wish it was sold year round. Maybe the price could be cheaper if counter cut out the big box they came in. It’s seems like a waste of paper.

      Not Echo Friendly, Smaller than previous years

      First, the hand cream gift set is significantly smaller than it has been in past years. It went from 1.5 oz to 1 oz.

      More importantly, for a few small items, there is far too much packaging. What a waste! It is not eco-friendly when a small set is packaged in a giant, very thick cardboard box, with more cardboard on the inside. It's the quality of a box a new phone comes in, but much larger. This is not echo-friendly! Shame on you, Counter

      Love the lotion trio

      I’ve gifted these and bought several for myself. Much better packaging than the old aluminum style. Loved the big boxes for gifting but did seem a bit wasteful and not what I would expect as far as sustainability from Counter.

      The hand lotion is great

      I always love the hand lotion as it is so hydrating however I feel like the packaging is over the top. I think we need to be more mindful of the environment and not have so much packaging.
