We don’t formulate with PFAS like Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) - “forever chemicals” that can accumulate in our bodies and have been linked to cancer, weakened immune systems, reproductive and developmental harm, and hormone disrupting effects.

We don’t formulate with ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) salts such as Disodium EDTA, Trisodium EDTA or Tetrasodium EDTA. Manufacturing EDTA and its salts involves reacting ethylenediamine, a harmful substance associated with reproductive toxicity. Unfortunately, EDTA and its salts may contain trace amounts of this substance. EDTA and its salts are also persistent and can harm the environment.

Formulated without heavily ethoxylated ingredients Polysorbate 60, Laureth 21, PEG-100 Stearate, and PEG-200 Glyceryl Stearate that carry particular risk for carcinogenic contaminants, ethylene oxide and 1,4-dioxane. We take ingredient purity seriously.

We chose not to formulate our mascara with hair growth actives, prostaglandin and prostaglandin analogues like Ethyl Tafluprostamide, Isopropyl cloprostenate and Cloprostenol Ethyl Amide, which are endocrine active and can be linked to hyperpigmentation and periorbital fat atrophy.

      Looks great when first put on. Unfortunately smudges easily and and within an hour makes black marks under my eyes. Wish I could return and get my money back.

      Great Mascara

      Lifts and lengthens my sparse eyelashes. I especially love the fact that fewer chemicals are near my eyes when I wear mascara.

      Love the brush, love the look, love the ingredients.

      The only mascara I will ever use. Most Mascara is filled with so many dangerous chemicals, but not this one! I feel beautiful with the application and confident in the safety of this product.

      The Only Mascara That Doesn't Hurt My Eyes - or Run!

      I love this mascara! It's the only one I've tried (and there have been mannnnny!) that doesn't burn my eyes, and for me, it holds up on the smudge test despite not being officially "Waterproof" (toxic ingredients in those)! Pro tip: Use the Cleansing Balm or Cleansing Oil to remove.
